Homemade Hot Pork Tenderloin with Herbs and Spices

Grilled Pork Tenderloin is juicy, tender, and delicious and usually does not require any marinating. An underestimated cut of meat, pork tenderloin is affordable and easy to prepare!

  1. Silver skin is a tough layer of connective tissue commonly found on pork tenderloin. It is chewy and does not melt in the grilling process, so you need to trim it off completely. To remove, insert the tip of a sharp knife between the silver skin and the meat and slide your knife while pulling away the skin simultaneously.
  2. For the perfect pork tenderloin, cook with indirect heat (not over the flame of the grill.) Close the lid between flipping.
  3. Pork Tenderloin should be cooked over medium-high heat (400-425°F) Cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
  4. Drizzle 1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil onto the meat, coating both sides of the tenderloin. Mix all of your favorite herbs and spices together in a small bowl. Rub your spice mixture over the pork tenderloins evenly. Press the spices into the meat. It is so versatile and easy!
  5. When the tenderloin is cooked, remove it from the grill and place it on a cutting board. Let it rest for 5-7 minutes to let the meat reabsorb all the natural juices before slicing into 1-inch thick medallions. Serve and enjoy!
